Steak Teriyaki

List of Ingredients
- 1 bottle (12 oz) beer
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 T vegetable oil
- 2 tsps lemon juice
- 3 T dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground mustard
- 1/2 tsp coarse ground black pepper
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 3 lb sirloin steak, cut 1" thick
Instructions
- Place marinade ingredients in bowl or 4 cup glass measure and beat with fork until well combined.
- Place meat in shallow glass dish. Pour marinade over steak and pierce surface of meat all over with tines of fork. Cover and refrigerate 12 to 24 hours, turning once.
- Preheat broiler or grill.
- Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade. Broil or grill steak 10 minutes on each side or to desired doneness, basting frequently with marinade.
- Slice steak thinly on the diagonal.
