    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb fresh porcini mushrooms
    • 2 T butter
    • 1 T olive oil
    • 3 garlic cloves, finely minced
    • 1/2 cup chicken broth
    • 1/4 cup parsley
    • salt to taste
    • 1/2 cup sour cream
    • 2 cups of cooked egg noodles, hot and well drained


    Instructions


    1. Wash mushrooms and cut in half. If the mushrooms are small, leave whole.
    2. Melt butter and oil in frying pan over moderate heat. Cook garlic until it just starts to color. Add mushrooms. Cook for a few minutes, stirring until lightly browned. Remove mushrooms from the pan and keep warm.
    3. Add the chicken broth to deglaze the pan and cook uncovered, for 10 minutes or until liquid has reduced by 2/3. Add parsley and season with salt. Remove pan from heat. Cool 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in sour cream and incorporate.
    4. Add in mushrooms and pour over the top of the noodles and serve.
