    List of Ingredients


    • 4 cups finely shredded Chinese (napa) cabbage
    • 3/4 cup shredded carrot
    • 1/2 cup chopped celery
    • 1/3 cup rice vinegar
    • 3 T sugar
    • 3 T light sesame or vegetable oil
    • 1 T soy sauce


    Instructions


    1. In large serving bowl, combine cabbage, carrot and celery.
    2. In small bowl, combine vinegar, sugar, oil and soy sauce; blend well. Drizzle dressing over salad; toss gently to mix.


    Final Comments


    8 (3/4 cup) servings

    MAKE AHEAD TIP: Shred the cabbage and carrot, and chop the celery in advance; place them in a serving bowl and cover it tightly. Just before serving, stir together the dressing and toss it with the salad.
