    Herbed Cream Cheese Deli Sandwiches

    Makes alot of these, as they tend to disappear from buffets quickly!


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb deli turkey breast, sliced
    • 8 oz Nuefchatel cheese
    • 1/4 cup onion, minced
    • 3 T chives, chopped
    • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
    • 2 T fat free mayonaise
    • 1 loaf pumpernickel cocktail bread
    • 12 oz roasted peppers, drained (1 jar)
    • small green olives (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Blend cheese, onion, chives, garlic powder, and mayonaise together.
    2. Spread 2 slices of the cocktail bread with a thin layer of the cheese mixutre.
    3. Cut the roasted peppers into 1 1/2" squares and place one between the bread slices along with a slice of turkey.
    4. Cut diagonally and stack the two halves. Top with an olive, if desired, and secure with a decorative toothpick.
    5. Repeat the process.
