Heart Healthy Turkey Black Bean Chili

List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground turkey
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup red onion
- 1/4 cup red bell pepper
- 1/4 cup yellow bell pepper
- 1/4 cup carrot, chopped
- 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
- 2 cups cooked black beans, drained & rinsed if canned
- 2 T cilantro, chopped
- 2 T fresh lime juice
Instructions
- Saute ground turkey in skillet with olive oil until browned.
- Add remaining vegetables. Cook, mixture, stirring often until vegetables are softened.
- Stir in cooked black beans,cilantro, and lime juice. Cook until heated through. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish: Chopped tomatoes, non-fat sour cream and cilantro sprig
