Taco Soup
List of Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 envelope (1 1/4 oz) taco seasoning
- 1 can (14 1/2 oz) stewed tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, undrained
- 1 cup water
- Shredded cheddar cheese (about 1/4 cup per serving)
- Sliced green onions, sour cream and corn or tortilla chips for garnish, optional
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a large Dutch oven. Drain fat.
- Add taco seasoning, tomatoes, beans and water; heat until soup comes to a boil and is heated through. Ladle into individual bowls; top with cheese.
- If desired, also top with onions, corn chips and sour cream.
