    Taco Soup


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 1 envelope (1 1/4 oz) taco seasoning
    • 1 can (14 1/2 oz) stewed tomatoes
    • 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, undrained
    • 1 cup water
    • Shredded cheddar cheese (about 1/4 cup per serving)
    • Sliced green onions, sour cream and corn or tortilla chips for garnish, optional


    Instructions


    1. Brown ground beef in a large Dutch oven. Drain fat.
    2. Add taco seasoning, tomatoes, beans and water; heat until soup comes to a boil and is heated through. Ladle into individual bowls; top with cheese.
    3. If desired, also top with onions, corn chips and sour cream.
