Collard Greens with Smoked Turkey

List of Ingredients
- 1 pound of smoked turkey parts
- 1-1/2 quart of water
- 1 or 2 pepper pods
- 3 cloves minced garlic
- 4 pounds of fresh collards
- 1 medium onion
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 small green pepper
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable or olive oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- Place turkey in Dutch oven. Add water, pepper pods and garlic. Cover; bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer 30 minutes.
- Take washed and cleaned greens, sliced to own liking along with celery, onion, green pepper, sugar, oil and seasonings. Cook about 1/2 hour or until greens are done.
