    Serve as a garnish for poultry, veal, lamb, or fish.


    List of Ingredients


    • 8 medium plum tomatoes
    • 1 t. salt
    • 1 t. sugar
    • 2 t. thyme


    Instructions


    1. Remove the stem end from tomatoes. Cut in half lengthwise. Arrange cut side up on an open rack.
    2. Combine salt, sugar, and thyme. Sprinkle over tomatoes. Drizzle olive oil over tomatoes.
    3. Place rack in the oven. Bake at 250 degrees for 4 hours.
