    Spicy Broccoli with Garlic

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 lbs broccoli
    • 4 1/2 T olive oil
    • 1 clove garlic, minced
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper
    • 1 1/2 tsp vinegar


    Instructions


    1. Peel and slice thick stems from 1 1/2 lbs broccoli; separate florets.
    2. In a skillet, bring 3/4 cup water to a simmer over medium-low heat. Add stems and florets; cook, covered, until bright green, 4 minutes.
    3. Stir in 4 1/2 T olive oil, 1 minced garlic clove, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/8 tsp crushed red pepper. Cook 4 minutes.
    4. Turn off heat; stir in 1 1/2 tsp vinegar.
