    Recipe Introduction

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 lb bacon
    20 jalapeño peppers
1 8 oz. block cream cheese, room temp.
    1/4 cup onion, minced
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp Lawry’s Seasoned Pepper
1 tsp McCormick Chipotle Chile Pepper powder
    2 eggs
    2 Tbs milk
    1 cup bread crumbs

Warning: Wear rubber or plastic gloves when handling hot peppers.

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350º F.
Fry bacon crisp, drain well and crumble. Set aside.
Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membrane. Set aside.
In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, bacon, onion, garlic powder, Seasoned Pepper and Chipotle Powder.
Fill each pepper half with the cheese mixture mounding slightly.
Beat eggs and milk together to make an egg wash and pour bread crumbs in a shallow bowl. Dip peppers in the egg wash, roll in bread crumbs, then place on a non-stick or foil lined baking sheet. Bake 45 minutes or until the bread crumbs are nicely browned.
    Serve with cold beer!

John’s Note: I cleaned the seeds out of the peppers, but left as much of the membrane inside as I could for more heat. Next time try adding some grated Monterrey Jack cheese to the cream cheese mixture too
