    Recipe Introduction

Posted by: jcz04***********Another Vicki5775 Recipe at it's best! Very flavorfull and easy to put together. I only made 1/2 of the recipe and it was more then enough for 2. Thanks Vicki for sharing this wonderful "perfect"side

    List of Ingredients

1/2 cup vegtable broth( Used chicken broth)Did not have the vegt on hand.
    1 Tbs tomato poste
2 cans of white beans( 15-oz drained and rinsed)
    4 medium garlic cloves, minced
8 fresh sage leaves, minced( I did not have fresh so I used dried, about 1/2 tsp)
    Salt and pepper
3 cups of bread cubes( I used way less)( ( About 3/4 of a cup for 1/2 of the recipe)
2 Tbs extra virgin olive oil

    Recipe

My Additions were a handful of quartered grape tomatoes. That I added after everything was mixed together.

    Preheat the oven to 450
Whisk broth and tomato paste together.

Stir together the broth, beans garlic, sage, and salt and pepper to taste in a 1-1/2 quart casserole dish.

Toss the bread cubes, oil, salt and pepper to taste in a small bowl.
Sprinkle the bread cubes over the beans and bake until the beans are hot and bubbly and the bread cubes are golden brown about 15 minutes.

    * I also sprinkled the top with a little parm cheese and once out of the oven I sprinkled it with a little more olive oil ~Janie~
