    I would make six from this as we like our burgers juicy and thicker and add two slices of pepper jack per burger...HOT sausage as we like spicy....the right kick and GOOD!


    1 can chopped green chiles (4 oz)
    1/4 cup worcestershire
    1/2 tsp. Liquid Smoke
    1/2 cup crushed Ritz crackers
    4-1/2 tsp. chili powder
    3 tsp. ground cumin
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage (Jimmy Dean, hot, for us).

    16 slices pepperjack cheese
    8 large hamburger buns, TOASTED.

    condiments of choice: lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, whole green chiles, bacon, mayo, mustard, ketchup, etc.

    In a bowl, combine first 8 ingredients, crumble meats over and mix well but lightly. Shape into 8 patties.

    Grill, broil or pan fry for 5-7 minutes per side until no longer pink in center. Top with 2 slices cheese and cook 1 minute longer to melt cheese. Serve on toasted buns with condiments of your choice
