    2 envelopes dry Onion Soup Mix
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon oregano
    2 teaspoon basil
    rump roast (4 lb? or so)

    Recipe



    Combine soup mix and spices and rub into the roast. Place roast on a rack in a roasting pan. Add 2 cups water to the pan along with the rest of the spices. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350 for 3 hours. Do not peek! Cool slightly and slice thin. Serve on crusty rolls. (I like to slice and put in crock pot for pot lucks!)
