    List of Ingredients

    2 cups powdered milk
2 cups nondairy powdered coffee creamer
    2 cups powdered sugar
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    2 cups instant tea, unsweetened
1 package Instant Vanilla pudding mix (3 ounce)
    2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
    1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
    1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
    1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
    1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric -- optional
1/8 teaspoon white pepper -- optional

    Recipe

    1. Mix one cup of powdered dry milk with the brown sugar and spices and blend in the blender or food processor, to get the lumps out of the brown sugar.

    2. Combine with remaining ingredients and mix well.

    3. The turmeric adds a rich, lovely color to the finished brew.

    4. The white pepper adds a nice warmth.

    5. Start with two rounded tablespoons of mix to an 8 ounce cup of hot water; stir and enjoy.

    6. Store mix in a covered container.

winkyPA: I have since made the chai tea - CookieCarol's version and like it even better than the Snickerdoodle Coffee. Both are good, but prefer the tea. It tastes so much like Gen. Mills.

Homestyle: I love the Chai Tea. I have made up several batches and given it to friends and they have all asked for the recipe. Very soothing drink.

azup: Your recipe for the Chai Tea was WONDERFUL. I didn't think I'd have to make any more, because it seemed to make a big batch, and I've made 3 already! It was wonderful and makes an excellent gift! This is another one I've had to write the recipe out a dozen or more times!!! Thanks for posting it!!

sherri196: I made this also...and gave it as gifts. I couldnt 'find ground cardamom, so I used nutmeg....
