    Recipe Introduction

Posted by: queenietwo **********I use these biscuits all the time with stews and soups. They are not heavy but are filling and flakey. Better have lots of butter on hand for them.

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 to 3 tbsp. fat
    2/3 cup milk

    Recipe

Mix flour, baking powder and salt. Cut in the fat until very fine. Pour in milk stirring very quickly with a fork until mixed. Turn out on a lightly floured board: knead lightly, roll to 3/4 inch thick. Cut with floured biscuit cutter or glass. Place in a greased or floured pan and bake in a 400 to 425 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
