    List of Ingredients




    3 cups bread flour
    1 tablespoon honey
    1-1/2 tsp. salt
    1-1/8 cups warm water
    1-1/2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1-1/2 tsp. active dry yeast

    Recipe



    Place ingredients into bread machine according to order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough cycle. Remove dough and divide in half, forming two round or oblong loaves. Place on parchment lined baking sheet. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled in size, about 45 minutes.

    Preheat oven to 400º. Place a pan or dish filled with water on a lower shelf of oven. May brush risen dough with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired. Make 4 slashes with sharp knife into top of dough, careful not to deflate it.

    Bake on center rack of oven for 25 minutes or until deeply golden brown and bread sounds hollow when tapped. Cool on wire racks.

    (This dough is so soft on the inside and chewy outside and my favorite for homemade garlic bread.)
