    6 to 7 slices white bread - crusts removed
    1 lb pork sausage, browned, casing removed
    6 eggs
    4 c shredded cheddar cheese
    2 c half and half or whipping cream
    1 t salt
    1 t dry mustard.

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 13x 9 baking dish. Spread butter on both sides of bread and layer the bread in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Brown the sausage in askillet over med heat, breaking into pieces; drain. Layer the sausage over the bread then sprinkle with cheese over the sausage. In a bowl beat the eggs, half and half, salt and mustard. Pour the egg mix over cheese. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes. Makes 6 to 8 servings
