    List of Ingredients




    36 pecan halves
    1/2 c butter, sliced
    1/2 c brown sugar, packed
    1 T cinnamon
    2 c buttermilk biscuit baking mix
    1/3 c milk
    1/3 c applesauce

    Recipe



    In each cup of a greased 12 cup muffin tin, place 3 pecan halves, 2 teaspoons butter, and 2 teaspoons brown sugar. Bake at 450º just until butter melts; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl, beating about 20 strokes. Spoon mixture into muffin cups. Bake for 10 minutes at 450º; invert on a serving plate. Serve warm. Makes one dozen
