Posted by Chefly**************I made only 1/2 of the recipe as I only had 10 little links~
I cut each link in 1/2 to serve~` Perfect~~ Just could have used another box or 2~~
List of Ingredients
1 cup of apricot perserves( could get away with less)
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped ( used canned, chopped green chilies)
2 Tbs cayenne pepper( Just a sprinkle)
12 Medium size or 6 large sausages
12 slices of bacon
Recipe
Mix the first 3 ingredients. Make a slit down the center of each sausage, but not all the way through.
Spread with the spicy perserves.
Wrap with a bacon strip and bake at 375 for 20 minutes.
Cut each sausage into 3 pieces.
* I cut the bacon slice lengthwise to make 2 thin strips of bacon. This wrapped around the sausage links perfectly. I also baked on a rack on a foil lined cookie sheet. Allow to cool for just a few minutes before cutting. Made up about an hour or so early, then chilled till ready to bake~~ Perfect, this one will be made over and over. Really didn't need to taste this one It screamed Delish at me~~ Thanks Chef for this great little treat~~
