    2/3 C margarine/butter
    1 1/2 C sugar
    4 T Water
    4 eggs
    1 1/2 C flour
    1 t salt
    1 t baking soda
    1 t vanilla
    4 C chocolate chips
    1 C chopped nuts

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 9 x 13 pan. Melt butter, sugar and water together over low heat. (don't burn)
    Remove from heat and mix in 2 cups choc. chips. Stir until melted. Add eggs and beat. Add vanilla and stir. Add flour, salt and baking soda and stir. Add 2 C choc. chips, nuts and mix thoroughly. Pour into greased pan and bake for 25 minutes. Cool before cutting.

    As I typed this I realized that I have this in my oven and I used baking powder instead of soda... LOL.. been awhile since I have made this..... We LOVE these. :) A coworker gave this recipe to me a few years ago and I have to agree that it is KILLER!!! :)
