    Cream together:
    1-cup sugar
    1 stick butter (softened)

    Add:
    4 eggs – one at a time
    1-16oz can Hershey’s chocolate syrup
    1-cup flour
    1-teaspoon vanilla
    1-cup nuts (optional)

    Pour into 11x17* jellyroll pan.
    Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

    Frosting:
    In sauce pan:

    1 ½ cup sugar
    1 stick butter
    1/3 cup milk

    Mix together and boil for 1 minute.

    In small mixing bowl add
    ½ - 1-cup chocolate chips

    Pour above mixture over chocolate chips. Beat until thick enough to spread.

    * I always use a 9x13 pan for a thick brownie. Same cooking time and same amount of frosting.
