    List of Ingredients




    Grease and line 2-48 ozs.juice tins with
    parshnent paper.Set aside.

    Bread:
    In saucepan put 2 cups water,bring to a boil and add,
    2 cups raisins,2 tsp.baking soda,1 tsp.cinnamon,
    1 tsp.ginger,1 tsp.cloves,mix together and
    boil for about 3 minutes,let cool.
    In bowl,cream together,
    1-1/4 cups white sugar
    3 tbsp.margarine
    1 egg
    Mix together,then add raisin mixture.
    In bowl put:
    3 cups all purpose flour
    1 tsp.salt

    Recipe



    Mix together,and then add to liquid ingredients.
    Divide dough between the two prepared tins.
    Bake in 350ºoven-1 hour 15 minutes or until
    done when tested with tester.
    Great served with just,butter,cream cheese or
    make a sweet white sauce and pour over
    .
    Vanilla Sauce
    2 cups milk
    1/2 tsp.vanilla
    1 tbsp.margarine
    pinch of salt
    1/2 cup sugar
    1-2 tbsp.cornstarch in water
    Put all ingredients together in saucepan except
    cornstarch.Bring to a boil,stirring constantly so
    as not to scoarch,add cornstarch with
    water and thicken to your likeness.
