    List of Ingredients




    1 cup chopped pecans, divided
    1-1/4 cups flour
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup butter flavored Crisco
    1/2 cup flaked coconut

    Filling

    2(8ounce)softened cream cheese
    2/3 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp vanilla
    1 can cherry pie filling

    Heat oven to 350º. Grease 9x13 cake pan. Chop 1/2 cup pecans coarsely for topping & set aside.
    Chop remaining pecans finely for the crust.Combine flour, brown sugar and cut in Crisco until fine crumbs appear. Add chopped nuts & coconut. Mix well.Remove 1/2 cup and set aside. Press remaining crumbs in pan & bake for 12-15 minutes.
    For filling, beat cream cheese, sugar,eggs and vanilla in small bowl until smooth. Spread over hot crust and bake 15 minutes. Spread cherry pie filling over cheese layer. Combine coarsely chopped pecans and reserved crumbs. Sprinkle evenly over cherries and bake 15 more minutes. Cool then refrigerate several hours.

    It's better the second or third day after preparing
