    12 oz. cream cheese (softened)
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 egg
    1/2 tsp vanilla
    1/2 c. chocolate chips
    1 pkg chocolate cake mix, prepared per package directions.

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 350º or if using dark bundt ban decrease heat to 340°.

    Grease and flour bundt pan. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, add egg and vanilla, beat again, and fold in chocolate chips. Set aside. Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour cake batter into pan evenly. Cover with cream cheese mixture, but do not allow mixture to touch the sides or middle of pan.

    Bake 45-55 minutes. When cake springs bake to touch, it is done.

    Cool on wire rack for exactly 20 minutes. Turn onto plate. When completely cool, dust with powedered sugar or drizzle with your favorite warmed canned frosting.
