    I got this out of a Philadelphia Cream Cheese Cookbook and it's wonderful

    List of Ingredients




    1 (8 ounce) pkg. Philadelphia Brand
    Cream Cheese, softened
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    2 cups flour
    1 3/4 cups sugar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 cup oil
    3 eggs, beaten
    3 cups shredded carrot
    1/2 cup chopped nuts
    Confectioners' sugar

    Preheat oven to 350ºF Grease and flour 9-inch Bundt pan.

    Mix cream cheese, sugar and egg, until well blended; set aside.

    Stir together dry ingredients. Combine oil and eggs; add to dry ingredients. Mix just until moistened. Fold in nuts and carrots.

    Measure 2 cups batter and set aside. Pour remaining batter into prepared pan. Pour cream cheese mixture over batter. Carefully spoon reserved batter over cream cheese mixture, spreading to cover.

    Bake at 350ºF for 55 minutes or till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.

    Substitution: Light Neufchatel cheese may be used instead of cream cheese.

    Servings: 12
