    List of Ingredients




    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a bundt or tube pan.

    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. white sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 c. sour cream
    1/2 t. vanilla ext.
    2 c. cake flour (or double sift
    regular flour)
    1 t. baking powder
    1/4 t. salt

    Topping:
    Mix together--
    1/3 c. chopped pecans
    1 t. cinnamon
    2 T. brown sugar

    Recipe



    Cream together sugar, butter and eggs. Fold in sour cream and vanilla by hand. Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly but gently by hand. Pour half the batter into pan. Cover with topping. Cover with remaining batter. Bake 50-60 minutes.

    I have found this to be the moistest (is that a word?) coffee cake I've ever eaten. It's the dessert I am most often asked to bring to pitch ins. My family loves it, I hope you do too.
