1 pkg Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe White Cake Mix
    3 large egg whites
    1-1/4 cups water
1/3 cup Crisco Oil OR Crisco Puritan Oil
1/2 cup decorating star decors, divided
1 (16 oz) container Duncan Hines Creamy Homestyle Vanilla Frosting
    green food coloring
6 chocolate sandwich cookies, finely crushed (see Tip)
    1/2 cup candy-coated chocolate pieces
    1/3 cup assorted jelly beans
    assorted nonpareil decors

    Recipe

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line 24 - 2-1/2" muffin cups with paper baking cups.

In large bowl, combine cake mix, egg whites, water & oil. With elec mixer at med speed, beat until moistened. At med speed, beat 2 mins. Fold in 1/3 cup star decors. Fill paper liners about 1/2 full.

Bake 18-23 mins until wooden toothpick inserted near centers comes out clean. Cool in pans 5 mins. Remove cupcakes to cooling racks. Cool completely.

Tint Vanilla frosting with green food coloring. Frost 1 cupcake. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp chocolate cookie crumbs on frosting. Arrange 4 candy-coated chocolate pieces to form caterpillar body. Place jelly beat at 1 end to form head. Attach remaining star & nonpareil decors with dots of frosting to form eyes. Repeat with remaining cupcakes.

TIP: To finely crush chocolate sandwich cookies, place cookies in a resealable plastic bag. Remove excess air from bag; seal. Press rolling pin on top of cookies to break into pieces. Continue pressing until evenly crushed.
