    List of Ingredients




    Cake:
    2 cups flour
    ¾ cup sugar
    2 ½ teaspoons baking powder
    ¾ teaspoons salt
    ¼ cup shortening
    ¾ cup milk
    1 egg
    2 cups well-drained blueberries

    Topping:
    ½ cup sugar
    1/3-cup all-purpose flour
    ½ teaspoon cinnamon
    ¼ cup soft butter

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 375ºF. Grease a 8”x8”x2” or 9”x9”x2” square or a
    9 ½ ” round layer pan.
    Mix all cake ingredients, except berries, and beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Gently fold in blueberries and place batter in pan. Mix topping ingredients and sprinkle over batter. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until toothpick placed in center comes out clean. Serve warm. (Also great cooled!)
