    Recipe Introduction

I have made 2 of these so far and my family loves them. This has been added to my to keep files. The first one I made last week it was yelloe cake mix with cream cheese icing, the one I made 09-10-05 (sat) was red velvet cake mix with french vanilla icing.

    List of Ingredients

    1 box any cake mix
    4 whole eggs
    3/4 cup of oil
    1 cup of milk
    1 can any flavor frosting

    Recipe

    Preaheat oven to 350º
Break eggs in mixing bowl and beat by hand. Next add the rest of the ingredients except the frosting. Mix well by hand. Fold in frosting. Grease and flour a 12 cup tube or angel food cake pan. Pour mix in evenly. Place cake pan on a cookie sheet in oven. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
If you want, only put 2/3 of the can of frosting in the mix. Microwave the remainder until soft and drizzle the rest over the cake after it cools.

Note: Do NOT use a mixer to make this cake. It incorporates too much air into the batter and the cake will overflow in the oven. Hence the name “Crawlin Cake”.

Willows note: dont open the oven door to check on it, becise iw will fall, and make sure the cake is competly cool before trying to take it out of the pan, it does stick.
