    List of Ingredients




    Sift together:
    1 cup all-purppse flour
    3/4 cup sugar
    2 tablespoons cocoa
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt

    Combine:
    1/2 cup milk
    2 tablespoons salad oil
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Recipe



    Add to dry ingredients and stir to mix.
    spread mixture evenly in 9" pan.
    Sprinkle with:
    1 cup packed brown sugar, mixed with
    1/4 cup cocoa

    Pour:
    1 3/4 cups hottest tap water over batter
    BAke at 350 degrees F. for 40 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes. Serve
