    List of Ingredients




    3/4 c butter
    1 c sugar
    3 large eggs, at room temperature
    1/2 c creamy peanut butter
    1 c all-purpose flour
    2 T chopped peanuts

    Preheat oven to 325°.
    Grease a loaf pan.

    Recipe



    Combine the butter and sugar in a medium bowl.
    Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Blend in the peanut butter.
    Stir in the flour.
    Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan.
    Bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
    Remove from oven and sprinkle with the chopped nuts.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes more, or until a sharp knife inserted
    into center of loaf comes out clean.

    Makes 1 loaf.

    Options:
    Stir 1 c of chocolate chips into batter before baking OR stir in
    1/2 c chocolate and 1/2 c peanut butter chips OR stir in 1/4 c
    finely chopped peanuts (with or without the chocolate chips.)

    Serving suggestion: top a slice of cake with vanilla ice cream
    (or Cool Whip) and chopped peanuts
