    Recipe Introduction

Posted by: redeemed_ga ******This is my daughter’s signature dish, hence the name. It’s requested at all family gatherings and potlucks. Huge hit. Hope you enjoy it as well.

    List of Ingredients

6 slices bacon, cut into ½” pieces
    ½ cup onion, chopped fine
    2 tablespoons all purpose flour
    1 cup sour cream
2 pkgs. Frozen whole kernel corn, thawed, drained
    ½ teaspoon salt
    ½ teaspoon black pepper
    ½ teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
    1 tablespoon fresh parsley
    1 tablespoon fresh chives

    Recipe

Preheat oven to 350° F. In 10” skillet cook bacon until partially cooked. Add onion; continue cooking until bacon is browned. Drain off fat except 1 tablespoon of bacon drippings; set bacon and onion aside. Stir flour, salt, pepper and garlic into reserved 1 tablespoon of bacon drippings. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until smooth and bubbly. Stir in sour cream, corn and 1/3 of bacon and onion mixture. Pour into 1½
Quart casserole; sprinkle with remaining bacon and onion mixture. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with parsley and chives
