    List of Ingredients




    (w/precooked chicken) Serves 4-6
    1 pkg. of 2 refrigerated pie pastry
    1 LB fresh mushrooms - sliced
    1 large whole vidalia or sweet onion, sliced
    1/4 cup butter or margarine
    1/2# Gruyere (or Swiss cheese), diced
    2 - 2 1/2 c's cooked chicken, diced.

    Put pastry in pie plate. Add butter to skillet & saute onions few mins. then add mushroom & cook until tender. Take half of cheese and place in bottom of pie shell. Then 1/2 of mushroom and onion and half of diced chicken. Repeat layers. Top with other pie pastry and flute. Make two cuts in top pastry to allow steam to be released. Bake at 375 for 40-50 minutes. Let stand for 5-10 minutes to serve.
