    Almond Coconut Bars

    1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
    1/2 c. butter, melted
    1 can sweetened condensed milk
    1 (7-oz.) pkg. flaked coconut
    2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1/2 c. peanut butter
    24 whole almonds

    Recipe



    In small bowl, combine cracker crumbs and butter. Press into ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Combine milk and coconut; drizzle over cracker crust. Bake at 350 deg. for 18 - 20 min. or until lightly browned. In a microwave safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and peanut butter. Microwave on high for 1 min.; stir. Microwave 30 - 60 seconds longer or until chips are melted; stir until smooth. Spread over warm bars. Garnish with almonds. Refrigerate one hour before serving. Yield: 2 dozen.
