    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup margarine
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg
    1 1/4 cups applesauce
    2 1/2 cups flour
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1 teaspoon cinnamon
    1/4 teaspoon cloves
    1 cup raisins
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

    Recipe



    Cream margarine and sugar. Add eggs and applesauce blending well.
    Add dry ingredients, and fold in raisins and nuts.
    Chill 1 hour.
    Bake on greased cookie sheet 350 10-15 minutes.
    Do not over cook; cookies should be slightly moist looking on top.
