    List of Ingredients




    2/3 cup butter flavored shortening
    1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
    1 tablespoon water
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 cups flour
    1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1 12-ounce bag semi-sweet mini chips

    In a large bowl beat shortening, brown sugar, water & vanilla on medium speed of electric mixer until well blended. Add eggs; beat well. Stir together dry ingredients & add gradually to sugar mixture, beating on low speed till just blended. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375° for 7 to 9 minutes or until cookies are set. Cookies will appear soft & moist; do not overbake. Cool 2 minutes on sheet, then transfer to a piece of foil on a flat surface to cool completely. 3 dozen
