    List of Ingredients




    1 4 oz pkg of saltine crackers
    1 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 12 oz pkg chocolate chips

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line cookie sheet with foil. Butter foil. Arrange crackers on a single layer.
    Melt 1 cup butter over med heat. Add sugar stir until dissolved. Bring to full boil and cook without stirring for 3 minutes.
    Pour mixture over crackers. Tilt pan to coat evenly. Bake 3 minutes. Let cool 1 minute. Sprinkle chocolate chips over crackers. Let stand 1 minute to soften and spread over crackers. Sprinkle with nuts or coconut. Refrigerate until firm.
    The 4 oz of saltines is one sleeve. The girl that made these used a cookie sheet, I am going to try a 10x13 pan, make them a little thicker.
