    Posted by: candykisses_Oklahoma********You could use chocolate or just about any flavor of instant pudding in these. The lemon is so light and refreshing. I did a little tweaking, but the basic recipe is from Tamara Lynn

    List of Ingredients




    1 c. butter flavored Crisco
    1 c. vegetable oil (I used canola oil)
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. powder sugar
    2 eggs
    1 t. vanilla extract
    1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) instant lemon pudding mix
    4 c. flour
    1 t. cream of tartar
    1 t. baking soda

    Recipe



    In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter flavor shortening, oil and sugars. Beat in eggs, vanilla and dry pudding mix.
    Combine the flour, cream of tartar and baking soda; gradually add to creamed mixture.
    Drop by tablespoonful 2” apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake @ 350 for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks.
