    3/4 C sugar
    1 C butter
    2 C flour
    1 1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
    Dash (1/8 tsp.) salt
    Pecan halves

    Recipe



    Beat sugar and butter until fluffy. Add rest of ingredients except
    pecan halves, and roll into balls. Press pecan halves into top of
    cookies. Bake on ungreased baking sheet 13 minutes at 350�.
