    List of Ingredients




    1 c. shortening
    3/4 c. brn sugar
    1 egg
    1 3/4 c. flour
    3/4 tsp cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp vanilla

    Recipe



    Mix, shape into balls, roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 min.
