    1 c. shortening
    1 c. peanut butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. powdered sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350°. Cream the shortening, peanut butter and sugars together. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, soda and salt together. Add gradually to creamed mixture. Beat well. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet.
    Flatten with a fork dipped in a little flour. Bake in 350° oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

    take the cookies out of the oven while they still look a bit underdone
