    List of Ingredients




    1 cup raisins
    1 1/4 cup water
    2/3 cup butter
    1 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1 cup oatmeal
    2 cup flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 tsp cloves
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    1/2 tsp salt

    Recipe



    1 Boil raisins for 2 to 3 minutes. Reserve raisin water.
    2 Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, oatmeal and 9 T. raisin water. Add flour, baking soda, spices and salt. Stir in raisins.
    3 Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake 350° for 10 - 12 minutes
