    List of Ingredients




    3 cups flour
    1 tsp salt
    2/3 cup Crisco, butter flavor
    1+1/4 cup sugar
    1 tsp baking soda
    Mix dry ingredients, cut in shortening.
    Add 2 eggs, beaten
    1 Tbsp vanilla
    2 Tbsp buttermilk

    Mix and roll out thick,about 1/4 inch thick, cut out, bake in a 350 oven. Do not brown the cookies, just maybe starting to tint around the edge, but browning makes them to hard. Frost with a powder sugar frosting. Very good cookie
