    Recipe Introduction

This has been on my try list for some time. Everybody loved it. Can't get any easier than that. I wasn't sure how it would come out because the spiced cider mix I had was a diet one that used Splenda rather than sugar.

    It's this easy:
Take a ham (mine barely fit into the crockpot) and sprinkle on a package of instant apple cider mix. Wrap in foil and cook in crockpot all day on low. It really does taste like one of those honey baked hams.

Yes you can cook this in the oven at 325º For a 5 pound ham I cooked it between 2-3 hours and then check it to see if it is heated out the way through.
Yes it is the single size pack of cider. It comes in a box like hot chocolate does and in Food lion where i get my it is where the hot chocolate is.Hope this help you all.

I use a hormel ham or Dinner bell ham
Yes you wrap the hold ham in foil. You can add maybe a 1/2 pack more if you want it to be more honier baked. It get's some what of a crust on it.

you cook this ham on low and No do not add any liquid to the crockpot. The juices from the ham makes the liquid.
