    Recipe Introduction

    List of Ingredients

1 Fryer, Cut Up Or 8 Pieces Of Chicken
    1/2 Teaspoon Salt
    1/8 Teaspoon Pepper
    1/2 Teaspoon Paprika
    1/2 Teaspoon Celery Salt
1/4 Teaspoon Garlic Powder (NOT Salt)
1/3 To 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar, Firmly Packed
1/2 Stick Of Butter Or Margarine

    Recipe

Wash chicken pieces and pat dry. Spray all over with cooking spray. Combine salt, pepper, paprika, celery salt, and garlic powder. Mix well and rub all over chicken. Arrange on a foil covered baking pan with the meaty side up. (It helps to spray the foil or use the non-stick type.) Sprinkle all over with the brown sugar and dot with the butter. Set your oven to come on to 350° 1 1/2 hours before you get home from church. Place chicken in the oven. A wonderful aroma will greet you when you arrive home. If you have cooked your veggies the day before, all you have to do is warm them and eat. The chicken should be crispy and browned, and the juices clear. If not, let it continue to cook while you warm the veggies and set the table.
