    Recipe Introduction

Posted by: AlabamaNeeNee*********This is a favorite of mine. I have spread canned pie filling over the cream cheese for a fruit danish and it is great that way, too.

For an apricot danish, just spread about a cup of apricot preserves over cream cheese filling. Sounds yummy!

    List of Ingredients

    2 cans crescent rolls
    2 8oz pkgs cream cheese
    1 egg, separated
    3/4 cup sugar
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1/2 tsp almond extract
    Glaze
    1/2 cup powdered sugar
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 to 3 teaspoons milk

    Recipe

Lightly grease or spray bottom of 9x13 pan.
Place one can crescent rolls in bottom of pan, sealing seams.
Mix cream cheese, egg yolk, sugar, vanilla and almond.
Spread on dough. Top with other can crescent rolls.
Lightly beat egg white and brush on top of dough.
Cook 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Blend powdered sugar and vanilla with just enough milk to drizzle on top.
