    Honey Ginger Grilled Salmon
(a recipe courtesy of McCormick & Company)
    1 1/2 lbs. salmon fillets
1 teaspoon ground ginger (I used less)
    1 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/2 cup soy sauce
    1/3 cup orange juice
    1/4 cup honey
    1 green onion, chopped (I didn't use - didn't have a green onion)
Mix together all ingredients except salmon. Place in a large self-closing plastic bag. Add fish and seal tightly. Turn bag gently to distribute marinade. (I used an oblong Pyrex baking dish instead.)
Refrigerate 15 minutes or up to 30 minutes for stronger flavor. (I gave it 30 minutes, maybe more.)
    Turn bag occasionally.
Lightly grease grill rack. Preheat grill to medium heat. Remove salmon from marinade. Reserve the marinade. Grill 10 to 12 minutes per inch of thickness, or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Brush with reserved marinade up until the last 5 minutes of cooking time. Discard leftover marinade.
