    White Frosting for Red Velvet Cake

    List of Ingredients




    2 T. flour
    1 c. milk
    1 c. unsalted butter
    1 c. confectioners' sugar
    1 t. vanilla extract

    Recipe



    Over medium heat, cook flour and milk until thickened. Let cool completely.

    In bowl of an elect. mixer, cream together butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Beat in flour mixture.

    Frost top of first layer with frosting and set second layer on top. Frost entire cake with remaining frosting.

    Perhaps somebody will have a slightly different mixture that isn't quite as tricky
