    Posted by: dessert1st***********I collected the snow yesterday, being careful not to get the "first" snow as so many of you cautioned, because it would contain pollutants from the air. I also avoided the very top layer as it had been laying there a couple hours. Scooping from the middle, I'm sure I got the cleanest snow available (for 2007).


    List of Ingredients




    Recipe (kind of):
    1 gallon of loose snow (could use more, if available)
    1 t vanilla bean paste (would use 2-3 t regular vanilla extract)
    1 can sweetened condensed milk

    Recipe



    Chill mixer bowl & beaters. Add sweetened condensed milk & vanilla. On low speed, gradually add snow until thoroughly blended. Freeze until ready to serve.

    I wish I would have learned this as a child...to think I have missed out on it all these years
