    These freeze well before or after cooking. If you’re freezing them before, just make them up, put them in the pan, and freeze it. Don’t make the sauce until you’re ready to cook them. Take them out of the freezer and let them thaw overnight in the fridge before cooking.

    List of Ingredients




    1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
    3 lbs. ground beef
    2 c. quick oats
    2 eggs
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. chili powder

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Form into 15 meatballs (about 1/2 c. of mixture each). Place in single layer in a 9 X 13” pan. Cover with sauce and bake 1 hour.

    Sauce: 2 c. catsup
    2 Tbsp. liquid hickory smoke flavoring
    1/2 c. onion
    1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
